Blue Jackets Recall Forward Curtis Glencross from Syracuse (AHL)

COLUMBUS, OHIO The Columbus Blue Jackets have added forward Curtis Glencross to the roster on emergency recall from the Syracuse Crunch, the team's American Hockey League affiliate, club President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced today.

Glencross, 24, is scoreless in six games with Columbus this season. He made his NHL debut with the Anaheim Ducks on Jan. 13 vs. Colorado and scored a goal. He has collected 22-26-48 with 118 penalty minutes and is +4 in 58 games with the Crunch and Portland Pirates of the AHL this season. He has recorded 45-40-85 with 245 penalty minutes in 157 career AHL games and 1-0-1 and two penalty minutes in eight career NHL games.

The Blue Jackets wrap up the 2006-07 season against the Anaheim Ducks at Nationwide Arena tonight. Game time is set for 7 p.m. ET with live coverage on FSN Ohio beginning with the Ice Breaker pre-game show at 6:30 p.m. Coverage also includes the Blue Jackets Ice Cap post-game show immediately following the game. The game will also be broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM Sports Radio 1460 The Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101.
