Blue Jackets Re-Assign Philippe Dupuis & Andrew Penner to Syracuse

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-assigned center Philippe Dupuis and goaltender Andrew Penner to the Syracuse Crunch, the Blue Jackets’ American Hockey League affiliate, team President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced today. With the transaction, the Blue Jackets now have 42 players remaining on their training camp roster.

The Blue Jackets, who are currently 1-1-0 in the preseason, return to action on Thursday when they host the Detroit Red Wings at Nationwide Arena. Game time is set for 7 p.m. Columbus will then play four-straight road games before wrapping up their preseason schedule at home against the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday, September 30, and Nashville Predators on Sunday, October 2.
