COLUMBUS, OHIO – Individual game tickets to the Columbus Blue Jackets' four home preseason games at Nationwide Arena will go on sale this Saturday, August 16, at 10 a.m., the club announced August 14.
Tickets are priced starting at $20 and will be available at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, The Blueline Team Store at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, The Chiller Ice Rinks and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers. Fans can also purchase tickets by phone at (614) 431-3600 or online at www.BlueJackets.com, the official club web site, and www.ticketmaster.com.
After beginning the preseason schedule with a pair of road games, Columbus plays its first home preseason game on Friday, September 26 against the Nashville Predators. The Blue Jackets will then take on another Central Division rival when they host the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday, September 29. The club will round out its preseason slate against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, October 2 and Minnesota Wild on Friday, October 3. All preseason games at Nationwide Arena begin at 7 p.m.
Columbus opens its eighth National Hockey League regular season on Friday, October 10 when they visit the Dallas Stars. The club will play its home opener at Nationwide Arena on Friday, October 17 against Nashville. Individual tickets for that contest as well as all 2008-09 regular season home games will go on sale Friday, September 19.
