COLUMBUS, OHIO – Individual game tickets to the Columbus Blue Jackets' four home preseason games at Nationwide Arena will go on sale this Friday, August 10, at 10 a.m., the club announced August 6.
Tickets will be available at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, The Blueline Team Stores at The Chiller Ice Rinks and The Mall at Tuttle Crossing and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers. Fans can also purchase tickets by phone at (614) 431-3600 or online at www.BlueJackets.com, the official club web site, and www.ticketmaster.com.
The Blue Jackets open preseason play on Sunday, September 16 when they host the Nashville Predators in a matchup of Central Division rivals. Game time is set for 5 p.m. The club will face off against another division foe on Tuesday, September 18 when the Chicago Blackhawks visit Nationwide Arena for a 7 p.m. contest. Columbus rounds out its preseason home slate against the defending Northeast Division champion and Presidents’ Trophy winning Buffalo Sabres on Sunday, September 23 (5 p.m.) and 2006 Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday, September 27 (7 p.m.).
Columbus opens its seventh National Hockey League regular season on Friday, October 5 against the defending Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Ducks at Nationwide Arena. Individual tickets for that contest as well as all 2007-08 regular season home games will go on sale Saturday, September 15.
