by Jeff Rimer / Columbus Blue Jackets

January 10

The Blue Jackets, who won the last two games of their three-game swing through Western Canada, host the Dallas Stars tonight at Nationwide Arena.

The Jackets will have one lineup change this evening. Kris Russell nursing a minor lower body injury will not play tonight, meaning Mathieu Roy draws back in. Russell it is believed will be fine for the Jackets road trip with starts next week in both St. Louis and Chicago.

Mathieu Garon, who played solidly in the Blue Jackets wins in Edmonton and Calgary where he recorded his 100th NHL victory tonight, makes his third straight start in goal.

Coach Hitchcock reiterated his thoughts on the need for his hockey team to continue to play "road type hockey" to the point of treating tonight's game as a road start in an effort to stay in the playoff hunt through January and then look ahead to a favorable home schedule for the rest of the season.

Game time tonight is 7 p.m.… excellent seats remain for the Jackets only home game over a two week stretch. Coverage on FOX Sports Ohio begins at 6:30 p.m. with Blue Jackets Live!
