The Columbus Blue Jackets’ ninth annual Career Fair is set for Tuesday, January 28 at Nationwide Arena starting at 12:30 p.m. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. The event gives current college students, recent graduates and experienced professionals access to hiring personnel from the area’s professional sports teams, college programs and other leading businesses. Companies at the Career Fair will have a variety of positions available that include full-time, part-time and internship opportunities. The complete registration package includes entry to the career fair, a panel discussion featuring sports executives, a Blue Jackets hat and a ticket to the game that night when the Jackets host the Ottawa Senators at 7 p.m.
The event includes a “Breaking into Sports” panel discussion from 12:30-1:30 p.m. This year’s panel will feature the following sports executives. All panelists are subject to change, based on availability.

•Dan Rossetti (panel moderator) – Managing Partner, Ascension Sports Partners, LLC
During the day, attendees will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from the following sports teams and college programs: Columbus Blue Jackets, Akron Racers, Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Columbus Clippers, Columbus Crew, Detroit Pistons – Palace Sports and Entertainment, Lake Erie Monsters/Cleveland Gladiators, Mahoning Valley Scrappers, Ohio Machine, Ohio University Sports Administration, Pittsburgh Pirates and Tiffin University.
Recruiters and hiring personnel will also be attending from the following companies in the region: Boehringer Ingelheim, Cardinal Health, Careworks Tech, Contemporary Services Corporation, IGS Energy, IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions, Jani-King of Columbus, Ohio Center for Broadcasting, OhioHealth, Scioto Downs Racing, Sports Management Worldwide, Stanley Steemer, Worthington Cylinders and more.
