Blue Jackets Host Fan Festivities Around 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Activities include road-game watch parties at PINS Mechanical, home-game plaza parties at Nationwide Arena

The Columbus Blue Jackets invite fans to take part in various game-night festivities surrounding the 2019 Blue Jackets Stanley Cup Playoffs, presented by AEP, Huntington, OhioHealth and Vector Security. As the Blue Jackets open their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Tampa Bay with games on Wednesday, April 10 and Friday, April 12, the Jackets will host CBJ Playoff Watch Parties. 

Watch parties for Games 1 and 2 will take place simultaneously at PINS Mechanical flagship in downtown Columbus (141 N. Fourth Street, Columbus OH 43215) and its suburban location in Dublin (6558 Riverside Drive, Dublin OH 43017). The parties start half hour before game time and will feature CBJ personalities, a DJ, prize giveaways and photo opportunities.

When the series shifts to Columbus, Nationwide presents the pre-game parties on the Front Street plaza in front of Nationwide Arena starting three hours before each home game. On Sunday, April 14, fans may enjoy music, attractions, beverage stations and watch an hour-long edition of FOX Sports Ohio's Blue Jackets Live pre-game show hosted by Brian Giesenschlag and Bill Davidge starting at 6 p.m. Prior to Game 4 on Tuesday, April 16, Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan's Common Man & T-Bone broadcast live from the plaza from 3-6 p.m. Game tickets are not required to attend the plaza parties. Doors to Nationwide Arena will open at 5:30 p.m. for Games 3 and 4. All fans attending Round 1 home games will receive a playoff-themed T-shirt and rally towel. The complete schedule for the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Series against the Lightning follows:

FOX Sports Ohio will broadcast live the first four games of the series. If other games are necessary, FOX Sports Ohio will air all games except those that are carried exclusively on national television. All Blue Jackets games televised on FOX Sports Ohio will also be streamed live via FOX Sports GO. Games can be heard live on the Eldorado Scioto Downs Blue Jackets Radio Network, including flagship station Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan in Columbus and online at BlueJackets.com. Each radio broadcast begins with a 60-minute pregame show that includes analysis from former Blue Jacket Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre. Fans are also encouraged to check out "CBJ in 30 Live," presented by Telhio Credit Union, as Blue Jackets radio announcer Bob McElligott breaks down the series each weekday from 8-9 a.m. The podcast will be available live and on-demand via BlueJackets.com and the CBJ Mobile App. 

A limited number of playoff tickets are on sale now at BlueJackets.com and in person at the Big Lots Box Office at Nationwide Arena, the FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, OhioHealth Chiller Dublin, OhioHealth Chiller Easton, and OhioHealth Chiller North.
