Fans invited to Saturday's practice at Training Camp

OhioHealth sponsoring t-shirt giveaway to the first 1,000 fans in attendance

WHAT: As Blue Jackets training camp gets underway this week, fans are invited to watch the team take the ice at the OhioHealth Ice Haus on Saturday, September 24. Doors open at 8 a.m. and the first practice session begins at 9 a.m. A second session, beginning at 1 p.m., will take place on the main ice at Nationwide Arena. Admission is free.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance for Saturday's practice sessions will receive a long-sleeved Blue Jackets T-shirt courtesy of OhioHealth.

 During training camp, all practice sessions will be open to the public. Fans should enter at the McConnell St. entrance, next to the Big Lots Box Office, for all practices.A complete schedule with times and locations will be posted on


WHEN/WHERE:  Saturday, September 24 - Doors open at 8 a.m.  

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Practice at OhioHealth Ice Haus

1 - 4 p.m. - Practice at Nationwide Arena

NOTES: The Blue Jackets open their preseason schedule on Sunday, September 25 at 7 p.m. as they host the St. Louis Blues at Nationwide Arena.
