Blue Jackets, community leaders to unveil plans for attractions

In anticipation of hosting the 2015 NHL All-Star Celebration in January, the Columbus Blue Jackets will announce plans for major community attractions to complement the League’s official All-Star events.

Michael B. Coleman - Mayor, City of Columbus

John O’Grady - Commissioner, Franklin County Board of Commissioners

Tuesday, December 9 at 1 p.m. - will also be streamed LIVE on and the #CBJ mobile app.

Nationwide Arena (200 W. Nationwide Blvd., Columbus, Ohio)

The press conference will be held on the main concourse above sections 110-111.

Media parking is available in the arena loading dock with entry to the building through the 24-hour security entrance.

The League’s mid-season showcase will take place Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25 and will include the NHL All-Star Skills Competition and the NHL All-Star Game. In addition, NHL Fan Fair will run January 23-25 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
