Blue Jackets camp roster moves: Oct. 5

Club releases four players from professional tryout (PTO) agreements

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets trimmed their training camp roster by five players, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

Right wing Daniel Zaar has been assigned to the Cleveland Monsters, the Blue Jackets' American Hockey League affiliate. In addition, defenseman Keith Aulie, defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron, right wing Mike Brown and center Jarret Stoll have been released from their professional tryout contracts.
The Blue Jackets, who are 3-3-0 in the preseason, return to action Thursday when they host the Boston Bruins. Game time at Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN Columbus 1460 AM and online at BlueJackets.com.
