Blue Jackets assign Ryan MacInnis to Cleveland Monsters
MacInnis has registered an assist and a +1 plus/minus rating with 12 shots on goal in nine contests

The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned center Ryan MacInnis to the Cleveland Monsters, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, Blue Jackets General Manager and Alternate Governor Jarmo Kekalainen announced tonight.
MacInnis, 23, has registered an assist and a +1 plus/minus rating with 12 shots on goal in nine contests with the Blue Jackets this season. He made his NHL debut on December 21 vs. New Jersey and collected his first career assist two games later on December 27 at Washington. The 6-4, 200-pound center has added 6-16-22, 20 penalty minutes and is +8 in 36 contests with the Monsters in 2019-20.
The St. Louis, Missouri native has recorded 24-53-77 and 131 penalty minutes in 236 career AHL games with the Monsters, Tucson Roadrunners and Springfield Falcons since making his pro debut in 2015-16. He was selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the second round, 43rd overall, at the 2014 NHL Draft and was acquired by the Blue Jackets via trade on July 18, 2018.
