Blue Jackets Assign Mark Hartigan to Syracuse

The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned center Mark Hartigan to the Syracuse Crunch, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, team President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced Tuesday.

Hartigan, 29, has scored a goal and two assists with two penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating in six games with the Blue Jackets this season. For his career, Hartigan has registered 11 goals and eight assists with 30 penalty minutes in 48 career NHL games.

The Blue Jackets return to action Friday when they host the Los Angeles Kings at Nationwide Arena. Game time is set for 7 p.m. Live coverage on FSN Ohio begins with the IceBreaker, pre-game show at 6:30 p.m. and includes the Blue Jackets Ice Cap post-game show immediately after the game. The game will also be broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM Sports Radio 1460 the Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101.
