Blue Jackets assign four players to Springfield (AHL); camp roster stands at 32 players

COLUMBUS, OHIO --- The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned four players to the Springfield Falcons, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, Blue Jackets General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. The moves bring the club’s current roster to 32 players.

The four players assigned to Springfield are: forwards Josh Anderson, Sean Collins and Ryan Craig, and defenseman Jaime Sifers.

The Blue Jackets, who are 4-1-0 in the preseason, return to action tonight when they visit the Nashville Predators. Puck drop from Bridgestone Arena is 8 p.m. ET. Columbus’ next home preseason game is Wednesday, October 1 vs. the Carolina Hurricanes. Game time at Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET.
