Blue Jackets assign eight players to trim Training Camp roster to 42 players

COLUMBUS, OHIO --- The Columbus Blue Jackets made their second roster moves of training camp as eight players have been reassigned to trim the current training camp roster to 42 players, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

The following six players have been assigned to the Springfield Falcons, the Blue Jackets’ American Hockey League affiliate: goaltender Anton Forsberg, forwards Lukas Sedlak, Trent Vogelhuber and Riley Wetmore and defensemen Hubert Labrie and Thomas Larkin. In addition, forward Nick Moutrey (Saginaw/Ontario Hockey League) and defenseman Dillon Heatherington (Swift Current/Western Hockey League) were returned to their junior clubs.
