In 40 games with the Crunch this season, he has tallied 11-11-22, including three power play goals and three shorthanded goals. Simonâ€™s three shorthanded tallies are tied for second-most in the AHL. Fritsche has notched 3-5-8 and 18 penalty minutes in 45 games with the Blue Jackets in 2005-06 and added 0-1-1 in two games with Syracuse earlier this season. A second round selection, 46th overall, by the Blue Jackets at the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he has recorded 4-5-9 in 64 career NHL games and 2-1-3 in six career AHL contests. The Parma, Ohio native also represented Team USA at both the 2004 and 2005 World Junior Championships, winning a gold medal in 2004 and scoring 5-6-11 in 13 games during the two tournaments.
