Columbus, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets will play an eight-game preseason schedule, including four home games at Nationwide Arena, prior to the 2017-18 National Hockey League season, the club announced today. Columbus will play a home and road set against the Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators.
The Blue Jackets open preseason play on Tuesday, September 19 as they host the Blackhawks at 7 p.m. ET at Nationwide Arena. The following night, the club will visit St. Louis for an 8 p.m. ET contest at Scottrade Center. The club then plays games on three-straight days from Sept. 22-24 with a road contest at Chicago in between home games against Pittsburgh and Nashville.

The club closes out its home portion of the preseason on Tuesday, September 26 vs. the Blues before wrapping up its preseason slate with road games at Nashville on Thursday, September 28 and Pittsburgh on Saturday, September 30.
