Blue Jackets Announce Details of the 'Jet to the Cup' Contest

The Columbus Blue Jackets and Jetride Aircraft Management along with CD101, Sports Radio 1460 The Fan, Mix 97.1 and WBNS 10TV are teaming up to give one lucky winner and three guests a once-in-a-lifetime hockey trip that includes travel to an NHL destination via private plane courtesy of Jetride Aircraft Management, four tickets to a 2006 Stanley Cup Finals game and hotel accommodations.

Blue Jackets fans may enter for their chance to win this dream trip during home games on Saturday, Apr. 8 (vs. Detroit), Thursday, Apr. 13 (vs. St. Louis), Saturday, Apr. 15 (vs. Chicago) and during the FANtastic FANale V on Tuesday, Apr. 18 (vs. Dallas). One finalist will be announced at each game. Entries are also being accepted at The Blueline team store at Nationwide Arena. In addition, fans have the chance to register by visiting the official Web sites for Sports Radio 1460 The Fan at www.1460thefan.com and Mix 97.1 at www.thenew971.com or listening to win on CD101. The nine finalists will each attend FANtastic FANale V at Nationwide Arena on Tuesday, Apr. 18 when the Blue Jackets wrap up the season against the Dallas Stars. There, they will participate in an on-ice contest during an intermission where one contestant will win the “Jet to the Cup� grand prize. The winner and the other eight finalists will also participate in the “Jersey Off Our Backs� promotion at the conclusion of the Fantastic FANale contest when they will each receive an authentic jersey worn by a player during the game that night.
