COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced today that Time Warner Cable has upgraded its existing corporate partnership with a multi-year deal to become the hockey club’s eighth and final Championship Partner and a top-tier partner of the Arena Football League’s Columbus Destroyers.
Time Warner Cable joins Anheuser-Busch, Dispatch Media Group, Huntington Bank, Nationwide Insurance, OhioHealth, Pepsi and Pontiac-GMC as Championship Partners of the Blue Jackets. Time Warner Cable becomes the exclusive provider of information and entertainment services, including cable television, high-speed Internet and local and long-distance telephone, for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus Destroyers and Nationwide Arena.
As part of the enhanced partnership, Time Warner Cable receives naming rights to the Front Street Entrance of Nationwide Arena and the ice-level restaurant area formerly known as Center Ice Lounge. Time Warner Cable also gains presenting status of the Blue Jackets in-arena pre-game show including “Rink Report,” www.BlueJackets.com and www.Destroyers.com. Time Warner Cable will also receive in-game promotional opportunities with the Blue Jackets and Destroyers.
