With less than a week until the eighth annual Black Tie Blue Jackets Style Show, put on by the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation
, the Blue Jackets community is excited to celebrate its heroes and raise money for the fight against pediatric cancer. The show will take place Tues., Feb. 25 at center ice in Nationwide Arena.
If you are thinking about attending, have tickets already or are just curious about the Black Tie Style Show, we've answered a few questions about what to expect from this year's "Capturing Moments" themed event.Who are the participants in the Style Show?
The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation has invited several "heroes," or pediatric cancer patients and survivors, to walk alongside Columbus Blue Jackets players (as well as the players' families) in the Style Show. The Style Show recognizes the heroes for their courageous fight against cancer.
How do I attend the Black Tie Blue Jackets show?

Complementary valet parking is available on Nationwide Blvd. All attendees should enter through the McConnell St. entrance at the corner of Nationwide and McConnell.
What do I wear if I'm attending?
According to the event website

What is the schedule of events for Black Tie Blue Jackets?
Doors open for the Black Tie Blue Jackets Style Show
at 5 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 25. A cocktail reception will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on the Bud Light Terrace, with guests moving to their seats and tables in the bowl shortly after. Dinner is served at 7 p.m. after a brief program welcome.
After dinner, the live auction should begin around 8:15, where attendees can bid on a variety of items provided by event sponsors and the Columubus Blue Jackets team and Foundation. The Style Show will begin at 8:45 p.m., where Blue Jackets players, their families, and their "heroes" will take the stage. The program will conclude before 9:30 p.m.If I can't attend, what can I do to show my support?
