Another Key Back-to-Back for the Jackets!

by Jeff Rimer / Columbus Blue Jackets

January 30

The Blue Jackets winners of nine of their last 11 on home ice tonight begin key back-to-back games against Ottawa and Dallas and if this morning's skate is any indication this team is ready for their weekend's action.

It was a spirited high tempo skate... lots of work and plenty of chatter and lets hope that equates to a quick start against the Senators tonight, who beat the Blues 3-1 in St. Louis last night.

Freddie Modin returns to the lineup after missing Tuesday's win over the Red Wings... while Raffi Torres expects to return tomorrow night against Dallas.

The Stars came to Columbus immediately after their win over the Red Wings last night and were expected to take to the ice at some point this afternoon.

While the team can't look ahead... we can... and tomorrow's game is a HUGE one!!

Steve Mason will again mind the nets... while Alex Auld gets his first start in a while for Ottawa.
