2016 Preseason Schedule Announced

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets will play an eight-game preseason schedule, including four home games at Nationwide Arena, prior to the 2016-17 National Hockey League season, the club announced today. Columbus will play a home and road set against the Boston Bruins, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins and St. Louis Blues.

The Blue Jackets open preseason play on Sunday, September 25 with a pair of split squad games against St. Louis.  The two teams will meet at 1 p.m. ET at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, followed by a 7 p.m. ET contest at Nationwide Arena in Columbus.  The following night, the club will visit Boston before hosting Nashville on Thursday, September 29 and Pittsburgh on Sunday, October 2.  Road games at Nashville on Tuesday, October 4 and Pittsburgh on Saturday, October 8 bookend the final preseason home contest on Thursday, October 6 vs. Boston.
