Tony Ommen is in his 21st season with the Chicago Blackhawks and his first as Vice President of Team Services. For the past 15 seasons, Ommen has managed the day-to-day logistical operations of the team, including travel, after serving the organization in various publications and public/media relations capacities since 1999.
A native of Carrollton, Ill., Ommen previously worked for the St. Louis Blues as Assistant Director of Communications. While with the Blues, he was a member of the media relations department that received the 1998-99 Dick Dillman Award, given annually to the media relations team judged the best by members of the Professional Hockey Writers Association (PHWA). Before joining the Blues, Ommen held positions with Fans Inc., the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams.
A veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Ommen and his wife, Nikki, have three children: Logan, Ashley and Emily.
