Two Blackhawks welcome daughters

As if winning hockey's ultimate prize wasn't enough, two Blackhawks welcomed new additions to their families last week. Brent Seabrook and teammate Antoine Vermette both had daughters just days after hoisting the Stanley Cup.

On Friday Brent Seabrook and his wife Dayna welcomed their daughter, Kenzie Belle. Kenzie was born on June 19, weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces. This is the couple’s second child as big brother, Carter was born the summer of 2013. Kenzie may have missed seeing her dad win the Stanley Cup, but it won’t be long before she gets her chance to sit in it!

Congratulations Brent and Dayna!

Father's Day came a day early for Antoine Vermette when he and his wife Karen welcomed their second daughter, Emilia on Saturday, June 20. Emilia weighs 6 pounds, 12 ounces. The couple's first daughter, Leona, is almost 2 years old. The Vermette family had a special visit from the Stanley Cup, and even though Emilia was just a few hours old, she had to try out Lord Stanley's chalice!

Congratulations Antoine and Karen!
