Trent Yawney And Mark Bell To Appear At Holiday Hockey Classic

The annual Chicago Blackhawk Charities Holiday Hockey Classic, presented by Robert Morris College, wraps up Thursday, December 29th at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville and Chicago Blackhawks head coach Trent Yawney and forward Mark Bell will be in attendance.

Yawney and Bell will present the Championship Trophy to the winner of the 2005 tournament. The semifinals start early Thursday (8:10 am), with the Championship game beginning at 4:25 pm.

The 2005 Chicago Blackhawk Charities Holiday Hockey Classic is supported by Comcast Sports Net and AthletiCo. Tickets are available only at the door on the day of the events. Admission on a full day pass for adults is $20 and $15 for students/seniors. Daily passes cost $7 for adults and $5 for students/seniors.

All proceeds from the Holiday Hockey Tournament benefit Chicago Blackhawk Charities which supports underprivileged and abused children, individuals suffering from physical disabilities and the development of health and fitness through youth hockey. Chicago Blackhawk Charities has provided grants to such organizations as the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI), the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), NHL Diversity and the American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association.
