Lincoln Park Zoo
Price: Free
Neighborhood: Lincoln Park

Lions and tigers and bears in Chicago? Oh my! Artem Anisimov frequents Lincoln Park Zoo (free admission!) with his children during the season. Go for a jog through the park or spend the day! There's plenty of polar bears, pumas and ponies to see.

Not bad for February.

Neighborhood: Stretches from Edgewater to Hyde Park

Stretch your legs on the 18-mile path along the edge of Lake Michigan, where Jonathan Toews has been known to take pup Betsey out for fresh air and sun. Stop for a game of beach volleyball, take a dip in the lake, or grab a bite at any of the several concession stands.
