Three travel to Denver, Frolik to join team Friday

While the Blackhawks finished Wednesday's 3-2 win against Colorado without three of their usual forwards, two of them traveled with the team to Denver for their Friday rematch with the Avalanche.

Marian Hossa, who was a last-minute scratch for the Blackhawks on Wednesday night with an upper-body injury, traveled with the team to Colorado. Andrew Shaw, who left the game in the second period, also made the trip, as did defenseman Steve Montador, who has been cleared for game action for the first time since March 27, 2012.

Michael Frolik, who missed Chicago's last two games due to illness, did not travel today, but will join the team in Colorado tomorrow.

Patrick Sharp left Wednesday's game with an upper-body injury and will miss Friday's contest.

Head Coach Joel Quenneville will provide an update on injuries and player statuses following Friday's morning skate.
