Some memorable dates this week in Blackhawk history:
The only time in Hawks annals that Chicago players scored four goals in two consecutive games came on November 25 and 27, 1948 when Jim Conacher did it at the Chicago Stadium against the New York Rangers and Billy Mosienko repeated the feat during the next game in Detroit.
November 26, 1927, goalie Charlie Gardiner was in the net for the first of 24 scoreless ties in Blackhawks history, an overtime clash against Detroit at the Chicago Coliseum. Ten of Gardiner's 42 career shutouts were 0-0 ties.
Tony Amonte liked this week for hat tricks with one at Los Angeles on November 30, 1996 and in Calgary on November 28, 1998.
Patrick Kane picked up a career-high of three assists on November 28, 2007 at Tampa Bay on his way to the Calder Trophy.
The Blackhawks registered their 2,000th NHL win in Edmonton on November 29, 1998 by edging the Oilers 3-2.
The Hawks set a team record for most points in a period (20) on November 29, 1972 when they exploded for seven goals in the 3rd period to whip Detroit 8-3. The goals plus 13 assists set the team mark.
Also on that date in 1995, Jeff Hackett started an eight-game winning streak, which would tie him with Tony Esposito for the team record.
Jonathan Toews posted his first three-point game and his first NHL game-winning goal in a 6-1 victory over Phoenix on November 30, 2007. Also in that contest, Dustin Byfuglien scored his first NHL hat trick.
