The Denis Savard Foundation hosted its third annual Celebrity Golf Classic on July 23 in La Grange, Ill. Current and former members of the Blackhawks organization, including Stan Mikita, Joel Quenneville and Jonathan Toews, were among the celebrities who took part in the charity event.
Savard addresses the outing's attendees before the start of the day. Proceeds from the classic benefited the Blackhawk Alumni Association, Chicago Blackhawks Charities and three other charity organizations.

Ben Smith was one of five current Blackhawk players who teed up for the event. Jonathan Toews, Jimmy Hayes, Bryan Bickell and Andrew Shaw rounded out the roster.

Each participant received a Stan Mikita jersey at dinner. In 2010 and 2011, donors received Denis Savard and Bobby Hull jerseys, respectively.

Savard bounced from group to group over the course of the day, stopping occasionally to play a hole and socialize.
