The Friday Five: Top Offseason Twitpics

by Leah Hendrickson / Chicago Blackhawks

This offseason, several Blackhawks have shared their days of vacation with fans via Twitter. While Twitter pros like Brandon Bollig document their daily activities, ranging from Olympic commentary to restaurant reviews, Ben Smith (a fresh face on the Twitter scene) gets his feed rolling with some sporadic photo updates and brief messages to friends.

With so much fishing, sunning, golfing, and relaxing being documented by our Blackhawk tweeters this summer, we bring you the Friday Five: Twitpics Edition.

1. As previously mentioned, Ben Smith is new to Twitter, comparatively speaking (most of his teammates were tweeting when @BenASmith was just a twinkle in Smith's eye). That said, Ben kicks off our list with his straightforward tweet documenting a casual trip to Oak Street Beach.

2. The chirping does not stop during the offseason, as Brandon Bollig demonstrates in his subtle jab at rookie Andrew Shaw.

3. The following picture was sure to draw some feedback from his teammates, as Bryan Bickell shares what he does in his rare time away from his beloved boat.

4.Viktor Stalberg loves to play golf during the offseason, but from this image, we're not entirely sure golf loves him back.

5. Last but not least Andrew Shaw gets in on the fun, sharing a photo of his teammates after a summer workout sporting the same look.
