The Friday Five: Multi-talented

Each week, the Blackhawks Blog will give you five stats you need to know about the Blackhawks this season.

1. On Feb. 19, Marian Hossa recorded his third multi-goal game of the season with two second-period goals.

The Slovakia native has notched two power-play tallies this season and has racked up 14 points (8G, 6A). The 34-year-old equaled a season-high five shots on goal against Vancouver.

2. Patrick Kane has earned points in 14 of 16 games this season (9G, 13A).

The 24-year-old tallied a primary assist on Tuesday for his team-leading 13th helper and 22nd point of the season.

3. Defenseman Duncan Keith extended his point streak to three games (5A) with an assist on Feb. 19.

Keith paces team blueliners with 10 points (1G, 9A) and is the fifth Blackhawk to reach the 10-point mark this season.

4. Brandon Bollig registered his twelfth fighting major of his NHL career against Vancouver on Feb. 19.

The Missouri native recorded his team-high fourth fighting major of the campaign early in the first period when he tussled with Vancouver’s Dale Weise.

5. On Feb. 19, Ray Emery earned his seventh career shootout win.

The netminder turned aside 29 of 32 shots through 65 minutes of play and stopped two of three shootout attempts for the win.
