Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw
left Game 1 of the Western Conference Second Round with an injury in the first period Friday against the Minnesota Wild and did not return.
Shaw, who's been playing right wing on the third line, took a hard hit in the offensive zone at 10:39 from Wild defenseman Clayton Stoner. Shaw left the bench area and headed to the locker room.
The Blackhawks did not say where Shaw sustained the injury.
Chicago won 5-2. Game 2 is Sunday at United Center (3 p.m. ET; NBC, RDS, TSN).
