Seabrook, Vandermeer To Appear At West Meadows

Chicago Blackhawk defensemen Brent Seabrook and Jim Vandermeer will visit the West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows on Monday, October 23 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Seabrook and Vandermeer will be on the ice to assist with practice for the West Meadows Renegades Mites and then the two Blackhawks will sign autographs for fans in attendance.

Vandermeer is in his third season with the Blackhawks and his fourth NHL season overall. In 2005-06, Vandermeer had his most productive season as a pro, posting six goals and 18 assists for 24 points.

Seabrook is in his second season with the Blackhawks and is coming off of a stellar rookie campaign in which he scored five goals and assisted on 27 others. Seabrook's 32 points was tops among all Blackhawk defensemen.

West Meadows Ice Arena is located at 3939 Winnetka Drive in Rolling Meadows. The arena is just to the northwest of the Illinois Route 53 & Euclid Ave. interchange.

West Meadows Ice Arena is a member of the Chicago Blackhawks Rink Partnership Program.
