Scott Darling mask features 'Wayne's World' homage

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Scott Darling  has a new mask and we're not worthy.

Darling unveiled his new mask, inspired by the film "Wayne's World," on Instagram.

The mask features Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar, played by Mike Myers and Dana Carvey in the "Saturday Night Live" skits and two films. It also has a reference to Stan Mikita's Donuts, Wayne and Garth's main hangout in the movies.

Wayne and Garth live in Aurora, Illinois, about 30 miles from where Darling grew up, in Lemont, Illinois.

The "Wayne's World" pair had had a strong association with hockey. Wayne and Garth were big Blackhawks fans and their "Game On!" street hockey phrase became the official slogan of the NHL in the mid-1990s.

The movie "Wayne's World" was released Feb. 14, 1992. What better way to celebrate its 25th anniversary than with Darling's most excellent mask? Does this guy know how to party or what?
