Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival
will be heading to Russia this February, one of 17 NHL players selected on Monday to represent the Czech Republic in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. It will be the veteran blueliner's first Olympic appearance.
The 35-year-old defenseman will join notable NHL players including Jaromir Jagr, Patrik Elias, Ondrej Pavelec and former Blackhawks forward Michal Frolik on the roster.
Rozsival has appeared in three other international competitions for the Czech Republic, most recently winning gold at the 2010 IIHF World Championship.
