Rookie Tournament: Lines and notes vs. Columbus

Blackhawks compete for chance to play in Tuesday's championship game

by Emerald Gao / chicagoblackhawks.com

For Monday's tilt against Columbus, the final game of the group stage, the Blackhawks won't deviate much from the lineup that prevailed 5-0 against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, with just two changes, one on the fourth line and one on defense. Center Nick Schmaltz remains out of the lineup with an injury, and Jake Hildebrand will resume starting duties in net. Here are the lines:

Alex DeBrincat -- Luke Johnson -- Tyler Motte
Radovan Bondra -- Graham Knott -- Alexandre Fortin
John Dahlstrom -- Nathan Noel -- Roy Radke
Ivan Nikolishin -- Hayden Verbeek -- Trevor Mingoia

Gustav Forsling -- Jeff King
Robin Norell -- Justin Lemcke
Carl Dahlstrom -- Travis Walsh

Jake Hildebrand
Brent Moran

If the Blackhawks win, they'll need Detroit to defeat St. Louis tonight to secure a spot in the championship game on Tuesday; St. Louis holds the tie-breaker due to their win over Chicago last Friday. The Carolina Hurricanes currently lead their division with two wins in two games.
