The Chicago Blackhawks announced today the hiring of Adam Rogowin as Coordinator of Media Relations.
Rogowin joins the Blackhawks’ Media Relations staff after having spent the last four seasons with the 2008 American Hockey League champion Chicago Wolves. For the past two seasons he served as the head of the team's media relations ventures. The 28-year-old initially joined the media relations department as an intern during the summer of 2002 and returned in a full-time capacity in 2004.
Prior to joining the Wolves, Rogowin worked in the office of television and print hockey analyst Stan Fischler in 2001. The Morton Grove native played hockey at the Kent School in Kent, Conn., from 1996 to 1999, and Connecticut College from 1999 to 2003, where he notched 19 assists and 28 points in 55 career games with the Camels before graduating with a double major in English and Sociology. Rogowin and his wife, Jen, reside in Chicago.
