The Chicago Blackhawks today announced the team will wear the uniforms worn in the 2019 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® for three upcoming home games:
Tuesday, January 22 vs. New York Islanders (7:30 p.m.)
Monday, February 18 vs. Ottawa Senators (7:30 p.m.)
Sunday, March 24 vs. Colorado Avalanche (7:00 p.m.)
Paying homage to the Blackhawks' 1934 uniform, the year the team won their first Stanley Cup® Championship, the black and white uniform features heritage materials and striping. Highlighting the throwback look, the Blackhawks crest features a combination of felt letters and chain stitching. To complete the theme, the player names and numbers feature single-layer felt materials.
Additional design details include the years that the team has won the Stanley Cup (1934, 1938, 1961, 2010, 2013, 2015) emblazoned onto the interior neckline, paired with the classic hash marks of Notre Dame Stadium as a nod to the classic end zone pattern.
The jerseys and other 2019 NHL Winter Classic apparel - including the Blackhawks official knit hat - will remain available for fans to purchase at the Madhouse Team Store inside the United Center Atrium and other United Center retail locations as well as the Blackhawks Store at 333 N. Michigan Avenue. Fans may also place orders via phone by calling the Blackhawks Store (312-759-0079) or Madhouse Team Store (312-455-4600).
