The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Louis Crevier (LOO-ee KREHV-yay) on a three-year contract that run through the 2023-24 season ($850,833 salary cap hit).
Drafted in the seventh round (188th overall) of the 2020 National Hockey League Draft, Crevier has six points (3G, 3A) in eight games with the Québec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Crevier, 20, posted six goals and eight assists in 26 regular-season games for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens of the QMJHL during the 2020-21 campaign. The 6'8, 214-pound blueliner added three points (1G, 2A) in nine playoff games.
The Québec native played for the Saguenéens from 2018-21, recording 39 points (16G, 23A) in 129 regular-season contests. Crevier also had one assist in four playoff games during the 2019 postseason.
