RELEASE: Blackhawks Re-Assign Lankinen

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have re-assigned goaltender Kevin Lankinen (LAHNK-ih-nehn) to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Lankinen did not appear in a game during his emergency recall. The 24-year-old netminder holds a 5-2-1 record with a 2.48 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage with Rockford this season.
The Blackhawks travel to Boston on Thursday, December 5 to take on the Bruins at TD Garden at 6 p.m. CT. That game can be seen on NBC Sports Chicago, streamed on the My Teams by NBC Sports App and NBCSportsChicago.com and heard on WGN Radio.
