The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have re-assigned goaltender Collin Delia (DEE-lee-ah) to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Delia has split time with the Blackhawks and IceHogs this season. In 16 appearances with Chicago during his rookie season, he is 6-4-3 with a 3.61 goals-against average and .908 save percentage. The 24-year-old agreed to terms on a three-year extension with the Blackhawks on Feb. 11. In 19 appearances with Rockford during the 2018-19 season, Delia is 8-6-4 with a .929 SV% and 2.36 GAA.
The Blackhawks visit the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, March 16 at 6 p.m. CT at Bell Centre. That game can be seen on WGN-TV and heard on WGN Radio.
