RELEASE: Blackhawks promotional schedule kicks off with Oktoberfest

With the 2018-19 season officially underway, the Chicago Blackhawks invite fans to join in on the exciting initiatives and promotions taking place at the United Center throughout the year.

- featuring live music, dancing, contests and giveaways - will be the first special event of the season, taking place in the United Center Atrium before the game and during intermissions on Thursday, Oct. 25 when the Blackhawks take on the New York Rangers at 7:30 p.m. The first 500 fans to enter the Atrium will receive an Oktoberfest-themed hat. The Atrium will also have specially-tapped Spaten Oktoberfest beer available, and fans (21 and older) who purchase a Spaten beer can add on a commemorative Blackhawks half-liter mug for just $1, while supplies last.

Additionally, the team will once again host the following marquee community night games at the United Center. Specific details for each community night game will be released at a later date.
