RELEASE: Blackhawks Foundation to Fuel Community with Parent Petroleum

Now through May, $0.03 from every gallon sold at 'Blackhawks Pumps' across 15 Chicagoland PRIDE Stores to be donated to CBF

by Chicago Blackhawks Communications /

The Chicago Blackhawks Foundation today announced it has teamed up with Parent Petroleum in a new partnership centered on "Fueling Our Community." Beginning today through the end of May, The PRIDE Stores across Chicagoland will transform one gas pump at each location and donate $0.03 per gallon pumped at the "Blackhawks Pump" to the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation.

Fans are encouraged to visit their local PRIDE location to help give back to the community by choosing to fuel up at the Blackhawks Pumps in the coming months. The top five locations that raise the most money through their Blackhawks Pump will earn a Blackhawks G.O.A.L. clinic for a local elementary or middle school in their community. The G.O.A.L. (Get Out & Learn) program provides floor hockey instruction from Blackhawks youth hockey staff with all equipment donated to the school to incorporate into their physical education curriculum.
