The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that the team has acquired forward Austin Wagner from the LA Kings in exchange for future considerations.
Wagner, 25, has registered 12 points (9G, 3A) in 24 American Hockey League games with the Ontario Reign during the 2022-23 campaign.

The 6-foot-1, 194-pound forward made his NHL debut with the Kings during the 2018-19 season, posting 21 points (12G, 9A) in 62 games. He has totaled 40 points (22G, 18A) in 171 career games with the Kings and 54 points (35G, 19A) in 138 career AHL contests with the Reign. He's also played in eight postseason games with Ontario, notching two points (1G, 1A).
The Calgary, Alberta native was originally drafted by the Kings in the fourth round (99th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
