1st Star: RW Matheson Iacopelli, Indy (ECHL)
The Line: 3 GP, 5G, 1A
Iacopelli was spectacular in his first three tilts in a Fuel sweater. He began his tenure as a winger for the ECHL team with a goal and an assist in an 8-7 win over Quad City. The offense continued when he picked up another goal in a 4-2 win over the Mallards a night later. Iacopelli put a bookend to his first three games in Indy by tallying his first hat trick, including the game winning goal, in a 6-4 win over Quad City to complete the three-game sweep.
2nd Star: RW John Dahlstrom, IK Oskastshamn (SHL-2)
The Line: 2 GP, 3G, 1A
John Dahlstrom helped secure back-to-back victories while on loan to IK Oskarshamn this past week. He was credited with a helper on the game-winning goal in overtime to give his team a 3-2 win over Timrå IK. He followed that up with his first hat trick, giving the squad a 6-0 win over Södertälje SK. Dahlstrom now has seven points (5G, 2A) through nine games.
3rd Star: LW Dylan Sikura, Northeastern (NCAA)
The Line: 2 GP, 2G, 1A
Sikura did his damage during an 8-0 route of New Hampshire on Senior Night. The Hobey Baker hopeful picked up his first point of the game with an assist in the second period. He then went on to register back-to-back goals in the third. Sikura now has 48 points (17G, 31A) this season.

Around the system:
- Matthew Highmore set Rockford's franchise record for rookie goals in a single season (21) with a goal in the IceHogs 4-3 overtime win at Hershey. The tally helped him pass Tanner Kero, who set the previous record at 20 in the 2015-16 season.

  • In Rockford's victory over the Bears, Collin Delia picked up his ninth win of the AHL season. John Hayden tallied a multi-point performance by scoring the game-winner in overtime to seal the IceHogs win and adding an assist. Chris DiDomenico also produced as a distributor with two assists, while Adam Clendening and Luc Snuggerud each had one helper.
  • Junior Blake Hillman picked up his third goal of the season in a 4-2 loss to St. Cloud State. The Denver defenseman now has nine points (3G, 6A) through 32 games.
  • Jake Ryczek registered a multi-point performance in a 6-5 win over Rimouski. His two-assist outing was the third time he has accounted for more than one point as a member of Halifax. The defenseman now has 20 points (5G, 15A) on the season.
  • DiDomenico picked up his first goal and assist this season as an IceHog in a 6-3 loss to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Anthony Louis (1G, 1A) and Victor Svedberg (2A) also registered multi-point performances in the tilt. Hayden was credited with a helper in the loss.
