by Emerald Gao / Digital Content Coordinator

On Mondays, chicagoblackhawks.com will highlight players who stood out for their minor-league, junior, college or European teams in the previous week's action. All prospect/system stats will be updated weekly throughout the season.

1st Star: D Chad Krys, Boston University (H-EAST)
The Line: 2GP, 2G

Krys was the catalyst for Boston University's 2-0 win over Providence last Friday, scoring both Terrier goals for his first tallies of the season. The 2016 second-round pick now has seven points and leads BU defensemen offensively; his team-high 38 shots on goal pace all Hockey East blueliners and rank third among conference skaters.

2nd Star: G Ivan Nalimov, Admiral Vladivostok (KHL)
The Line: 2GP, 2-0-0, 1 SO

Nalimov won both of his starts last week to improve his record to 3-4-0 this season. The 2014 sixth-round pick made 30 saves on 31 shots in a 5-1 win over Salavat Yulaev on Tuesday, then collected 34 saves in a 4-0 win over HC Sochi on Thursday for his first shutout of the campaign. Nalimov now has a .926 save percentage and 2.34 goals-against average in eight games.

3rd Star: D Ryan Shea, Northeastern University (H-EAST)
The Line: 1GP, 3A

Shea enjoyed a career performance last Saturday, contributing three assists to help Northeastern take down BU 4-1. The 2015 fourth-round pick has five helpers over his last two outings and shares second among Hockey East defensemen with eight points (all assists) this season.
