1st Star: RW Alex DeBrincat, Erie Otters (OHL)
The Line: 4GP, 5G, 5A
DeBrincat reached another level for Erie last week in the Ontario Hockey League, picking up points in all four games with the Otters. The 2016 second-round pick posted a five-point game in a 9-2 win over Mississauga on Tuesday, notched assists in the next two games and collected three more points (2G, 1A) in a 6-1 win at Owen Sound on Sunday. DeBrincat now has a seven-game point streak and is averaging a career-best 2.15 points per game this season with 56 in 26 outings.

2nd Star:LW John Dahlstrom, Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL)
The Line:4GP, 3G, 1A
Dahlstrom notched points in three of four games for Medicine Hat last week, tallying three goals and an assist. The 2015 seventh-round pick shares third on the team with 15 goals and ranks sixth with 30 points in 28 games during his first North American campaign, fourth among WHL rookies. The 19-year-old was named to Sweden's World Juniors evaluation camp on Monday.
3rd Star: C Nathan Noel, Saint John Sea Dogs (QMJHL)
The Line: 3GP, 1G, 3A
Noel had another strong week for the Sea Dogs, with multi-point nights in two of the team's three games. The 2016 fourth-round pick contributed a pair of helpers in Saint John's 5-1 win at Rimouski on Tuesday, then notched a goal and an assist on Sunday in a 6-3 win at Gatineau. Noel ranks third on the team with 14 tallies and fourth with 27 points in 26 games this year.

- Defenseman Lucas Carlsson collected points in both games for Brynas in the Swedish Hockey League last week. He tallied his first goal of the season on Thursday in a 3-2 loss to Skelleftea, then tallied his fourth assist of the campaign on Saturday in a 2-0 win over Vaxjo. The 2016 fourth-round pick was also named to Sweden's World Juniors evaluation camp roster.

  • Winger Radovan Bondra broke a four-game point drought last week, notching points in both games with the WHL's Vancouver Giants. He posted a goal and an assist in a 4-3 loss to Prince George on Tuesday, then added an assist in a 2-1 win over Brandon on Friday. The 2015 fifth-round pick continues to lead the Giants in goals (17) and points (28) this season.
  • Dylan Sikura assisted on Northeastern's lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Boston College last Tuesday; he shares the team lead with 23 points (9G, 14A) in 15 games this year ... Nebraska-Omaha sophomore Fredrik Olofsson scored his second goal of the season in a 3-3 tie at Wisconsin last Friday, then added his third helper of the season the next night in a 7-4 win over the Badgers ... Matheson Iacopelli tallied his 13th goal of the season in Western Michigan University's 5-5 tie against St. Cloud State on Saturday; he shares second in the nation in goals ... Cornell second-year forward Beau Starrett netted his second goal of the season in a 4-3 win over Miami of Ohio on Friday.
  • Notre Dame sophomore Dennis Gilbert assisted on the game-winning goal in a 3-0 win at UMass on Saturday, picking up his sixth point and helper of the season ... UNO defenseman Luc Snuggerud collected three assists in two games against Wisconsin last weekend and now has 15 points (6G, 9A) in 16 games this season, sharing fifth nationwide among blueliners.
  • Tanner Kero posted a goal and an assist for the IceHogs in their 5-4 shootout loss to Manitoba on Wednesday, then assisted on Rockford's lone goal in a 4-1 loss to Chicago on Friday. He shares the team lead with 13 points (4G, 9A) in 22 games ... Martin Lundberg tallied twice in Rockford's loss to Manitoba and now shares the team lead with five goals this year ... Brandon Mashinter and Sam Carrick each picked up two assists in three games last week ... Defenseman Cameron Schilling collected and assist last Wednesday and scored Rockford's lone goal in their 4-1 loss to Grand Rapids on Saturday.
