The Blackhawks look to snap a now six-game losing streak as they take on the Flyers in Philadelphia for an afternoon tilt. The team is also searching for their first win under Head Coach Jeremy Colliton, following a 4-3 loss to Carolina in his debut behind the bench.

The Blackhawks hope to improve on their special teams during this two-game trip. They're near the bottom of the league with a 13.5% success rate on the man advantage this season.
Philadelphia is paced in scoring by Claude Giroux, who has 19 points in 16 games. Wayne Simmonds has a team-high seven goals.
The Flyers have won five of their last six games, including their last two. They most recently bested Arizona 5-4 in overtime on Thursday.
SEASON SERIES:
This is the first meeting of the season between these two teams. They met twice in 2017-18, splitting the series. Chicago blanked Philadelphia 3-0 on Nov. 1, but lost 3-1 in Philly on Nov. 9.
They will battle again in Chicago this season on March 21.
LINEUP NOTES:
The Blackhawks will not have a morning skate, due to the early start time. Marcus Kruger missed practice on Friday due to a left leg injury. He did not travel with the team and has been ruled out for this one.

Schmaltz on Father and Son road trip

Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook, and Jonathan Toews all missed practice as well, but it was just for maintenance and they're expected to play.
UPDATE: According to Colliton, Luke Johnson will replace Kruger, while Brandon Manning will replace Brandon Davidson on the back end.
OPPONENT TO WATCH:
Giroux is on a bit of a roll right now with five points in his last two games, including a pair of goals and three helpers.
The team-leading scorer has six goals and 13 assists in total. Since entering the league as the 22nd-overall pick in the 2006 NHL Draft, Giroux has a total of 696 points.
Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews was also taken in the 2006 draft and is just nine points back of Giroux in his career.
