Today Blackhawks Senior Executive Director of Marketing & Business Development Dave Knickerbocker and his wife Kim welcomed the birth of their baby girl Elena Ruth at 3:27 P.M. CT at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago.
Just 97 minutes after Elena’s birth, she shattered the Hockey Hall of Fame’s record for youngest newborn in the Stanley Cup, along with her father’s new 2010 Stanley Cup Championship ring. The previous mark of approximately six hours was set in 2004 in San Jose, CA. Howie Borrow, Keeper of Cup for the Hockey Hall of Fame was present with the Stanley Cup to confirm the authenticity of the new world record.
It has been reported that Elena’s first two words spoken were ‘One Goal.’
