Kyle Calder and Tommy Hawk to Preside at RollerHawks Graduation

Chicago Blackhawks Left Wing Kyle Calder will help bring the 2005 RollerHawks season to a close when he speaks to the graduating classes on Sat., August 27 at 9 a.m. at the North Avenue Beach Sports Facility at North Avenue Beach in Chicago. In addition to the appearance by Calder, Blackhawk mascot Tommy Hawk will be there as well to congratulate the participants.
In addition to offering parting words of wisdom to the RollerHawks players, Calder will be there to present each of the 60 participants with their graduation backpack which will include a voucher good for four tickets to an upcoming Blackhawks game.
RollerHawks is the official In-Line program of the Chicago Blackhawks and is conducted every summer on Saturday mornings June-August. RollerHawks is for boys and girls ages 5 to 14 who want to learn and improve upon their hockey skills during the summer. RollerHawks coaches are certified by USA Hockey to assist kids in learning proper skating, stickhandling, passing and shooting skills along with instruction on team play.
