Founded in 2011 by Duncan and Kelly-Rae, Keith Relief aims to alleviate the financial and emotional burdens of Chicago families and individuals suffering from medical crisis. The Canadian couple first became familiar with the severe impact of American healthcare after Kelly-Rae underwent a costly surgical procedure. Now, the pair has partnered their foundation with RHMC®-CNI to sponsor a transplant floor in the new Chicago House, which provides a ‘home away from home’ for families with a child in a local pediatric hospital. Additional funds raised will support the co-branded Ronald Van, which is highly visible throughout the area and at Keith Relief charity events.
“Duncan and I feel so fortunate to call Chicago home,” explained Kelly-Rae Keith. “To have such a generous community, so willing to step up and get involved is really incredible. This event is exactly what we envisioned when our charity idea was born; Blackhawks players and fans having a great time while supporting those in need.”
